Terms of Service

1. Operator

Lecper is operated by Jan Mátl (Hradec Králové, Czech Republic). Contact: jan.matl.web@gmail.com.

2. The service

Lecper is a desktop tool that helps users record League of Legends gameplay (typically via OBS), detect highlight moments, cut montage and short-form clips locally, and optionally publish finished videos to third-party platforms such as TikTok and YouTube after the user authorizes those platforms.

Lecper is provided as software you run on your own computer. Features depend on your local setup (game client, OBS, ffmpeg, network, and API credentials you supply).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use TikTok / YouTube and similar services) and able to form a binding contract. If you use Lecper on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

4. Accounts and authorizations

Some features require you to create or use accounts with third parties (for example TikTok for Developers / TikTok Login Kit, Google for YouTube, or Riot API keys). You are responsible for those accounts, for keeping credentials confidential, and for complying with each provider's terms.

When you connect TikTok, Lecper requests the scopes user.info.basic, video.publish to identify your creator account and publish videos you choose to upload. You can revoke access at any time through TikTok's connected-app controls and by removing local tokens / disabling upload in config.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Lecper to upload content you do not have the right to record or publish.
• Violate Riot Games, TikTok, YouTube/Google, OBS, or other third-party terms, community guidelines, or developer policies.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or otherwise prohibited content.
• Attempt to bypass TikTok unaudited-app restrictions, privacy defaults, rate limits, or security controls.
• Misrepresent affiliation with Riot Games, TikTok, or Jan Mátl.
• Reverse engineer the product except where mandatory law allows, or use Lecper to attack, spam, or disrupt third-party services.

6. Your content

You retain rights to gameplay recordings and clips you create. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate features you enable (for example transmitting a file you marked for publish to TikTok's API). You are solely responsible for the content you generate and distribute, including permissions from other players where required by platform rules or law.

7. Intellectual property

Lecper software, branding, and this website are owned by Jan Mátl or its licensors. League of Legends and related marks belong to Riot Games, Inc. TikTok marks belong to their owners. Lecper is an independent product and is not endorsed by Riot Games or TikTok.

8. Third-party services

Integrations may fail, change, or be rate-limited by third parties. Platform review status (for example TikTok unaudited clients limited to private posting) can restrict publishing. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or enforcement actions by third-party platforms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Lecper is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that highlight detection, encoding, or publishing will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for commercial production without your own review.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jan Mátl will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or clips arising from your use of Lecper. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed €50 or the amount you paid us for Lecper in the three months before the claim (whichever is greater). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Jan Mátl against claims arising from your content, your misuse of Lecper, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights/policies, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Lecper at any time by uninstalling it and revoking third-party tokens. We may refuse support or revoke access to future updates if you materially breach these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Lecper and this website. By using the product, you also acknowledge that policy.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this website and updating the “Last updated” date. If you continue using Lecper after changes become effective, you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the product and revoke connected authorizations.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply. Courts in the Czech Republic have jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory rights.
